TUL Corp. has today presented to the world five new PowerColor Go! Green series graphics cards, all based on AMD's new Radeon HD 5450 entry-level model. The cards feature DirectX 11 and (software) CrossFireX support, and have a 64-bit memory interface, 80 Stream Processors, a GPU clock of 650 MHz, and 512MB or 1GB of memory set to 800 MHz (DDR3) or 1334 MHz (DDR3).
Two of the five cards (the Eyefinity editions) come with D-sub/DVI/DisplayPort outputs, while the rest include D-Sub/DVI/HDMI. These Radeons will start selling shortly so check you favorite IT store for them.

Corsair 128GB Voyager GTR flash drive goes on sale

Without any official word, Corsair has started shipping a new high-capacity flash drive, the first in the Flash Voyager GTR series. Seen below, the 128GB drive has a rubber housing which makes it water and shock resistant, a USB 2.0/1.1 interface, and a dual-controller design which ensures read and write speeds of up to 34 MB/s and 28 MB/s, respectively.
The 128GB Voyager GTR flash drive is backed by a 10-year warranty, and can be found priced at £270.51 / $432.

If you like real keyboards with your tablet then Toshiba may have something for you with the Portégé M780 convertible tablet. Seen below, the upcoming portable machine is reported to feature a 12.1-inch (1200x800) LED backlit touchscreen, a Core i3/i5 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, a 2.5-inch HDD or SSD, integrated graphics, and a DVD writer.

LG Electronics has taken the time today to show off in South Korea three new LCD monitors part of the EX series. Named EX205, EX225 and EX235, the 20-inch, 21.5-inch and 23-inch LCDs, have an LED backlight which enables them to consume up to 40% less power than conventional displays, a wine-colored glossy design, a thickness of just 17.5mm, a 5ms response time, and a contrast ratio o up to 1,500,000:1.
The EX205, EX225 and EX235 are going to sell in South Korea for $267, $301 and $362, respectively. Hopefully they'll be going global after a little Korean exclusivity.

Silicon Power presents the LuxMini 320/322 flash drives

Taiwanese memory and storage company Silicon Power has just revealed a couple of new stylish flash drives that are part of the LuxMini line. Seen below, the white LuxMini 320 and black LuxMini 322 measure 65.30 x 18.30 x 8.40 mm, weight 9 grams, have a polished metal enclosure, key holes for easy attachment, and a USB 2.0/1.1 interface.
The two drives come in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities, are backed by a lifetime warranty, and should hit stores later this month. Silicon Power has not revealed their prices.

LG to deliver 20-inch OLED TVs this year

LG Display is moving ahead with its OLED plans and aims to start mass production of 20-inch OLED displays later this year. The panels are expected to be used for new LG Electronics TVs, the company's OLED offer currently featuring 'just' a 15-inch TV.
Further down the line, in 2011, LG Display will roll out 30-inch OLED panels, while in 2012 is should have 40-inch class models. This updated schedule is more aggressive than the one presented last year which had LG Display introduce 32-inch panels in 2012. We like.

Dell targets big businesses with the Latitude 13 ultra-thin

To better serve the needs of the always-traveling businessman/businesswoman, Dell is preparing to release the Latitude 13, an ultra-thin laptop based on the same design as the already-selling Vostro V13. The new Latitude model measures 330 (W) x 19.7 (H) x 230 (D) mm and packs a 13.3-inch LED-backlit (1366x768) display, an Intel CULV (Celeron, Pentium or Core 2 Duo) CPU, up to 4GB of RAM, a HDD or SSD with full disk encryption, GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, as well as Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and mobile broadband.
The Latitude 13 comes with ImageDirect, Dell's online image management solution, a Trusted Platform Module (TPM), virtualization support, and the Computrace service which provides data protection and PC tracking and recovery.
Dell is expected to make the Latitude 13 available in the coming weeks.

The wannabe small but deadly M11x gaming laptop from Dell-owned Alienware has now become available for pre-order at a starting price of $799. The upcoming machine features a 11.6-inch (1366x768) WLED display, a 1.3 GHz Pentium SU4100 or Core 2 Duo SU7300 (also @ 1.3 GHz), 2/4/8GB of RAM, a HDD of up to 500GB or a 256GB SSD, and GeForce GT 335M 1GB graphics card.
The M11x is loaded up with Windows 7 (Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate), includes a 1.3 megapixel webcam, and can be equipped with Bluetooth 2.1, Gobi Mobile Broadband with GPS, and an external optical drive. Dell's estimates say the laptop will begin shipping on March 1st.

Still not available, MSI's CES-unveiled Wind Box DE220 nettop is reported to feature a 1.66 GHz Atom D410 or D510 processor, up to 4GB of RAM, a maximum of 1TB of storage space, and a Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics card.
The Pine Trail-based machine measures 275 (H) x 170 (W) x 40 (D) mm and, when finally release, it will be pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium. No word on pricing.

EVGA offering passively-cooled GeForce 210

EVGA has updated its low-cost graphics card offer with a new GeForce 210 model, one that is dead silent thanks to the use of a passive cooling solution. Codenamed 512-P3-1213-LR, the low profile DX 10.1 card boasts 16 Processing cores, a 589 MHz GPU clock, a shader frequency of 1402 MHz, a 64-bit memory interface, and 512MB DDR2 VRAM @ 800 MHz.
The new GeForce 210 takes up two slots, offers D-Sub, DVI and HDMI connectivity, and costs costs $55.

Corsair will very soon be updating its storage offer with two new series of solid state drives - Nova and Reactor. The 2.5-inch Nova drives come in 64GB and 128GB capacities, have a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, MLC (multi-level cell) NAND flash memory, and 64MB of buffer. In terms of speeds, the Nova SSDs reach 215 MB/s when reading and 130 MB/s (V64 model) or 195 MB/s (V128) while writing.
The 2.5-inch Reactor SSDs have 60GB and 120GB capacities, MLC NAND chips, 128MB of cache, and both SATA 3.0 Gbps and mini USB connectors. The 60GB Reactor SSDs reach 250/110 MB/s when reading/writing, while the 120GB model tops 250/170 MB/s.

Those looking to go 3D this year can order up the OptX AW23103D, the Alienware-branded 23-inch monitor unveiled at CES 2010. The new LCD features a TN panel with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rage, a typical brightness of 400 cd/m2, a response time of 3ms (G2G), and a maximum (dynamic) contrast ratio of 80,000:1.
The AW23103D has a stand enabling tilt, swivel and height adjustment, DVI and HDMI outputs, two audio connectors and four USB 2.0 ports. All this is backed by at least three years of warranty and costs $469.

Transcend unveils low-profile 4GB, 8GB DDR3 memory modules

Transcend has now presented the latest additions to its memory offer, an 8GB DDR3 registered DIMM and a 4GB VLP (very low profile) DDR3 RDIMM. Both equipped with thermal sensors, the modules make use of 256Mx8 high-quality DDR3 FBGA chips, are backed by a lifetime warranty and are set to be used in Xeon-powered servers.
The 8GB DIMM works at 1066 MHz, while the 4GB DIMM, which is just 0.74 inches (1.88 cm) high, tops 1333 MHz. Transcend has not revealed the modules' prices.

Claiming to take LED mainstream, BenQ has now introduced the G610HDAL and G610HDPL, a couple of 15.6-inch widescreen LCD monitors that have LED backlights. Both models feature the Senseye Human Vision Technology which adjusts image settings based on the content being displayed (videos, photos, games, etc), and have a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, a response time of 8ms, a dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 (500:1 static contrast for G610HDAL, 600:1 for G610HDPL), a built-in power supply, and just D-Sub connectivity.
The G610HDAL consumes up to 15.5W and can go down to 8.2W in Eco mode, while the G610HDPL requires 12W (5.8W Eco). The two monitors make use of mercury-free components, and are supposed to already be shipping in Latin America and the Middle East.

Hyundai IT has now started shipping the N94Wd 19-inch widescreen LCD which features a native resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels, and a glossy black finish. The monitor boasts a 5ms response time, a brightness of 250 cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 10,000:1, and a typical power consumption of 24W.
The N94Wd comes with both D-Sub and DVI outputs and can be found in Europe for under 110 Euro.
